Brief encounter
There are encounters which alter our path, determine our destiny. They are weighted by the relationship, brief, but held tightly. They are colored by the light- time of day, weather or season. They are framed by architecture or costume.
Frozen moments hold a reflection of encounters in open space or darkened paths. Sometimes, just a glimpse of the seen, or perhaps the imagined, streaks across our field of vision.
Then there are encounters of the most fleeting nature, moments barely registering as experience, failing to even fully form memories. Yet even these encounters may be revelatory. They may etch an image of longing, an unnamed desire.
